A purified-water company in a market where bottled water is a commodity. We gave it a name, a story and a look drawn from the land itself — and made water precious again.
Dunes is a water solution company based in Saudi Arabia, providing purified bottled water throughout the country. The biggest challenge: differentiate in a market where bottled water is a common commodity, and build an identity strong enough to stand out and resonate with the local audience.
The way in was cultural, not chemical: connect with the local demographic — their culture, history and heritage — and celebrate the importance of water in a region where it is a precious gem.
We explored names that could carry the brand’s story and landed on Dunes — short, catchy, and drawn from the sand dunes that define the region’s landscape and encapsulate Saudi heritage. The tagline sealed the promise: Purity in every drop.
The logo fuses the letter D with the sand dunes; blue and yellow stand for water and sand. A distinctive label and box design was built to do one job — evoke thirst.
